ORBEA, EIBAR 54-BORE PERCUSSION SINGLE-ACTION REVOLVER, MODEL 'SPANISH KERR COPY', serial no. 3782 circa 1860, with 5 5/8in. semi-octagonal barrel, bead fore-sight, plain top-strap stamped with the letter 'A.O.' with an anchor device between, repeated on the cylinder, lock and stamped in the wood, notch rear-sight to top of standing breech, plain five-shot cylinder (arbour release pin replaced), two-piece frame construction marked 'ORBEA HERM'S EIBAR' and with open sparse scroll engraving, coarsely chequered walnut grip with back-action lock inlet to the right hand side (chipped at lock tail), side hammer, lanyard ring at heel, single-action trigger (slightly at fault) and hinged under-barrel loading lever, strong traces of original finish
